Surah An-Nas (سُورَةُ النَّاسِ), “Mankind”, is the 114th chapter of the Holy Qur'an. It is a Meccan surah with 6 ayahs, found in juz 30. Below is the full Arabic text with transliteration and the English translation by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. Sura En-Nas — arapski tekst, transliteracija i audio.
An-Nas, "Mankind", is the last surah of the Qur'an, with six verses. The believer seeks refuge in Allah ﷻ — the Lord, the King and the God of mankind — from the whisperer who withdraws when Allah ﷻ is remembered and who whispers into the hearts of people, whether from among the jinn or mankind. With Al-Falaq it forms the two "surahs of refuge".
The Prophet ﷺ said that nothing like Al-Falaq and An-Nas had been revealed for seeking refuge (Sahih Muslim 814). He recited them with Al-Ikhlas before sleeping (Sahih al-Bukhari 5017), and Muslims read them after every prayer and in the morning and evening remembrances.
