Al-Ma'un, "Small Kindnesses", is a short surah of seven verses. It describes the one who denies the Judgement: he pushes away the orphan and does not encourage feeding the poor. Then it warns those who pray but are heedless of their prayer, who show off, and who withhold even the smallest help from others.
No special reward is narrated for this surah beyond the general reward of reciting the Qur'an — ten good deeds for every letter (at-Tirmidhi 2910). In seven verses it joins worship and kindness to people, showing that one is not complete without the other.

Ara-aital lazee yu kazzibu bid deen
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?
Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem
Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),
And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.
Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen
So woe to the worshippers
Al lazeena hum 'an salaatihim sahoon
Who are neglectful of their prayers,
Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon
Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),
Wa yamna'oonal ma'oon
But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
