Al-Ikhlas, "Sincerity" (or "Pure Monotheism"), is a short surah of four verses that sums up the Islamic belief in God: Allah ﷻ is One, the Eternal Refuge; He neither begets nor is born, and there is none comparable to Him. It is the clearest statement of tawhid, the oneness of Allah ﷻ.
The Prophet ﷺ said that Al-Ikhlas is equal to one third of the Qur'an (Sahih al-Bukhari 5013). He recited it, together with Al-Falaq and An-Nas, every night before sleeping (Sahih al-Bukhari 5017), and three times in the morning and the evening for protection (Abu Dawud 5082, at-Tirmidhi 3575).

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Qul huwal laahu ahad
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
Allah hus-samad
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad
And there is none like unto Him.
